What does F-Secure have in common with Google, Microsoft and Reaktor?
We’re all among “Finland’s Most Attractive Employers” according to a new survey of 5,993 professionals by Universum conducted from March to August of this year.
We rank sixth behind those big names but we’re focused on growth and constantly renewing our commitment to being the continent’s cyber security leader.
There’s a lot of reasons to love working at F-Secure. Here are a few:
- We have a “Cyber Gandalf”.
Outside F-Secure, he’s known as Andy Patel. But inside our Helsinki headquarters, he’s Cyber Gandalf. That’s his actual job title and his mission is to “Make the Cyber Great Again”. He blogs regularly in his his mission to explain the complexities of modern internet security in a way that reveals its many many mysteries. But don’t worry. If you see him in the hallway, he will let you pass.
- We have a sauna.
We have offices around the world. But sorry, we only have one official sauna — at our headquarters in Helsinki, the sauna capitol of the world. However, chances are in any F-Secure office in the world, you’ll be able to find someone who can refer you to the closest sauna.
- We are recruiting now for a variety of technical roles.
Like working on solutions that protect millions of customers? Or do you prefer to work directly with professionals’ who rely on your expertise to secure their network? Are you a Full Stack Developer, an Expert Security Architect or a Senior Security Consultant looking to take new steps in your career? We have openings for you.
- It’s about fellowship.
For nearly thirty years, F-Secure has existed in the belief that fellowship is the highest ideal. That means seeing your co-workers not just as equals but allies on a mission. It’s a belief that goes into everything we do from hiring to how we design our offices.
- We started off protecting computers. Now we are protecting the world.
F-Secure Labs not only makes it their mission to protect our customers through the best protection possible. They also help keep us all safer with constant insight and research into threats and vulnerabilities that could undermine the security that makes the connected world possible. Mikko Hypponen, our Chief Research Officer, travels the globe putting the challenges we face clear to tech leaders, government officials and anyone who cares about the future of the internet. Here is a playlist over 60 speeches and interviews with Mikko to get a sense of why he’s probably on a airplane right now to deliver another talk.
