F-Secure Coming to New Orleans (Warning! Watch Out for the WiFi)
Collision, also known as “America’s fastest growing tech conference,” is happening next week in New Orleans, and F-Secure and Mikko Hypponen will be there. We’ll have a booth showcasing our Freedome VPN, and Mikko will keynote on Center Stage.
In his presentation, “Behind Enemy Lines,” Mikko will talk about criminal online attackers and their motives, plus hacktivists, governments, and how to protect your network. It’s going to be fascinating, and it’s April 26 at 12:15 – so if you’re going to be at Collision, don’t miss it.
Big venues full of out-of-towners always mean a lot of people logging on to free WiFi, and Collision will be no different. We hope people follow our advice and use a VPN to keep their communications private, because you just never know who might be “sniffing” around. We’ve even been known to set up a fake hotspot once upon a time – and we never promised we wouldn’t do it again. Well, I ain’t sayin’ any more, but…consider yourself warned.
And see you at Collision!
P.S. Freedome is free to try for two weeks, so download it now and be covered at Collision.
